Gastroscopy(OGD) is an investigation to examine esophagus(food pipe), stomach, and part of the small intestine(Duodenum)

Colonoscopy is a procedure used to examine your large intestine. This is a common procedure to detect colon cancer.

Endoscopic ultrasound is a device commonly used to investigate presence of stone in bile duct, pancreatic mass and mass underneath inner lining of gastrointestinal tract ( Submucosal lesion). It allows the operator to take tissue sampling as well.

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography ( ERCP) is a procedure commonly used to remove stone that blocking the bile duct, it can also use to investigate causes of bile duct obstructions and to take tissue sample for diagnosis.

Small Bowel Enteroscopy is commonly used to reach the deeper length of small bowel. This is commonly performed in patient with suspected small bowel bleeding, small intestine inflammation or tumour in small intestine.

Liver Stiffness Measurement is commonly done to evaluate extend of liver scarring in patients with abnormal liver functions or chronic liver disease.

Helicobacter Pylori Tests is commonly performed on those with symptoms such as abdominal bloatedness, pain, indigestion, gastric ulcer and family history of gastric cancer.

Hydrogen Breath Test is commonly perform in those patient suspected to have small intestine bacteria overgrown (SIBO).

Gastroscopy is sometimes known also as an upper GI endoscopy. It is a procedure to examine the esophagus, stomach and the start of the small intestine (duodenum) with the use of an instrument called the gastroscope. The gastroscope has a long, thin and flexible tube with camera systems and capabilities to perform procedures such as biopsy and removal of polyps.

A colonoscopy is a procedure to look inside your colon and examine its lining.  The colonoscope is gently inserted into the anus and is long enough to look at the entire large bowel and the lower part of the small intestine. The tube has a tiny camera and light attached on the end to allow the live viewing and visual images of the colon to be displayed on the screen. The examination is done under sedation, which means the patient will not aware during the procedure.

ERCP is a specialised procedure to examine the structure of bile ducts. This procedure commonly performed in patient with suspected bile duct obstruction from gall stone or other causes such as bile duct or pancreas cancer.

EUS is a specialized procedure that used to examine lesion or growth that is nearby gastrointestinal tracts. This device has advantage against external ultrasound and CT scan due to proximity to the target area and allow doctor to obtain sample from the target

Fibroscan or Fibroelastography is the technology used to measure the amount of scarring in the liver as a result of chronic liver inflammation. This technique replaced the need for invasive liver biopsy , giving valuable information to doctor to decide on further management.

Small Bowel enteroscopy is a specialized endoscope that can reach deeper into small bowel. This procedure commonly done in patient with suspected small bowel disease such as inflammation, bleeding, tumour or stricture allowing doctor to take biopsies to investigate the cause.
